LANrev's Admin, Client and Server components are all written to run on either Mac OS X or Windows, in any combination among components. Additionally, all of LANrev's Macintosh components are Universal Applications, fully compatible with either PowerPC-based Macs or the new Intel powered Mac computers. Now, support staff can administer a Windows computer from a Mac, or vice versa, and stage software deployments from either Mac or Windows servers - or both.

LANrev is a scalable multi-platform solution, which can operate with equal efficiency on a single server deployment in the small to medium enterprise, or in a distributed architecture, managing thousands of desktops in a large enterprise.
In addition, each component of the LANrev system can be installed on either Windows or Macintosh computers, with minimal system requirements, thus reducing the potential for additional hardware investments required to deploy LANrev.
